Sunday, October 4, 2026 - Skye Wheatley has opened up about the emotional toll of her split from longtime partner Lachlan Waugh, appearing to suggest that he may have moved on with another woman.

The reality star shared a series of emotional Instagram Stories, describing the breakup as “traumatic” and saying she had received information about Lachlan that left her uncomfortable. She said the rejection had been particularly difficult, even more so than the possibility of him being with someone else.

Wheatley also connected the breakup to unresolved emotions from a previous relationship, saying she felt “rejected and replaced” and questioning why former partners seemed to move on quickly.


She stressed that she was not blaming anyone and recognised that some of her reactions were linked to her own past experiences. Lachlan has not publicly announced a new relationship, so there is no confirmation that he is dating someone else.


Despite struggling emotionally, Wheatley said spending time with the couple’s two sons, Forest and Bear, has helped her cope. She admitted that the split has affected her ability to work and that she has been isolating herself, but said she now wants to focus on healing and documenting her recovery.


The couple’s relationship has faced repeated breaks, and their latest separation appears to have left Wheatley facing a difficult new chapter while continuing to co-parent their children.
