Taylor Red singer NICOLE TAYLOR dies aged 35 after cancer battle

Tuesday, November 3, 2026 - Country music fans are mourning the heartbreaking loss of Nicole Taylor, a member of the popular country music trio Taylor Red, who has died aged 35 following a battle with aggressive breast cancer. Her death was announced by her identical triplet sisters and fellow bandmates, Natalie and Nika Taylor, in an emotional video shared on November 2, 2026.

Nicole passed away on September 28 at her home in Nashville, Tennessee. Sharing the devastating news, her sisters said they were heartbroken and had hoped she would recover and tell her story herself. They described her as their fearless leader, best friend and the person who brought strength to their family.

Nicole was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in 2022, a condition her sisters described as particularly aggressive. Although she initially responded positively to chemotherapy and was later told there was no evidence of the disease, the cancer eventually returned and progressed to stage four.

Despite receiving a prognosis of approximately three months, Nicole continued living life with determination, travelling, working and maintaining her positive outlook. Her sisters revealed that she even continued doing CrossFit during chemotherapy and encouraged those around her not to live in fear. She eventually lived for approximately another year after receiving the devastating prognosis.

Nicole's death marks a painful loss for Taylor Red, the country music group she formed with her sisters in 2010, initially performing under the name Red Roots. The trio became known for their close harmonies, musical talent and energetic performances, building a significant international following through songs such as Country Money.

Their YouTube channel has attracted more than 16 million subscribers, while the sisters have performed over 1,000 shows throughout their career. Tributes are now pouring in as fans remember Nicole's musical contribution, courage and unwavering faith. Her sisters have also thanked the medical professionals who supported her throughout her illness, saying they find comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering.
