Wednesday, September 30, 2026 - Irish comedian Kyla Cobbler has announced that she is expecting her first child with husband Simon Stewart.
The Cork comedian shared the happy news on Instagram, posting a photo of the couple holding a positive pregnancy test alongside an ultrasound scan. The scan revealed that their baby is due to arrive in April 2027.
Cobbler captioned the announcement, “happy thank you more please,” a nod to the title of her recently released debut memoir, Happy, Thank You. More, Please.
The announcement quickly drew congratulations from friends, fellow entertainers and fans, with messages celebrating the couple’s growing family.
The baby news comes just months after Cobbler and Stewart married in an intimate ceremony in Cork in June. The couple first met at a comedy show, and Cobbler has previously spoken openly about her hopes of becoming a mother.
